We have an awesome Full Moon this weekend.
There is a Grand Cross alignment and a lunar eclipse.The key to using this energy is finding the things you would like to change in your life. Create a fire ceremony of some sort. A perfect time to use the burning bowl ceremony. Write down the situation that you are wanting to change. Then release it to the fire.You can use a special fire ceremony to send out your desire for positive change. I use this ceremony in my full moon Labyrinth ceremonies.The burning bowl ceremony can be as elaborate, or simple, as you want to design it. The first thing I do is have each person write on a small piece of paper something or some quality that they want to manifest in the next moon cycle or year. If you have a secret name use that name to sign it. Close it with a symbol that is special to you or your spiritual path. A star with a circle around it is a symbol of manifestation of spirit into form. We then write on a separate piece of paper some thing or quality that they would like to give away in the upcoming month/year. This is their ‘give away’ prayer. For instance, “I give away my anger regarding my failed marriage.” “I give away poor concentration in school.” “I gave away my need for sweets.Some people will use special paper to write this on, like flash paper. I usually use plain white 2 x 4 inch paper. You can add any symbols to the message you like, for example an astrological symbol, or a symbol that has meaning and power to you.

You need a fireproof container to burn them in. I always do this ceremony outside. Have a lid handy for your container and a fire stick lighter. Create a special place or altar to do your ceremony on. I have a cast-iron container that I only use for ceremony.
I like to create a ceremonial space invocation/evocation calling the powers, elements and aspects that I desire in my circle. If you don't know one, then you can pray from the heart.
We put it in the bowl and let the fire spirits consume the paper. Then visualize the fire spirits taking it out on the ethers for manifestation. Then we start our ‘give away’ prayers the same way. We ask our ancestors since all ways and for always to witness what we are intending to give away in this ceremony. Then we light that prayer. I am from the old school which interprets that if the piece of paper burns right up the prayers will be answered, if not, there might be a challenge to the prayer.
So if your paper does not burn right up, your wish may not come true. At least not right away. There is something blocking it. It is your job to figure that out.After we all go around with our prayers, we thank all the powers, elements and all whom we invited in for their help. We open the circle.
The burning bowl has been a powerful part of my monthly full moon circle. One 13-year-old girl manifested a puppy, and a horse among other things with this prayer ceremony. So she is quite thrilled with the opportunity there. It has been a great way for us to really focus on what we want to accomplish in the month ahead and banish any quality that might hamper us from doing it. A healing and clearing process.

If you feel like you have been hitting your head against a brick wall and life is turned against you this a good article for you. Karmic relationships are created by our souls to help us make good on a situation we participated in another life time. We might have hurt another person in some way and here we are in this life time being hurt for reasons we can't explain. Perhaps there is a reason that started before we were born.

Below is a check list to help you process karma with intent. Any thing that we do willing is easier for us to move through. We may still have difficulty but at least we are making an attempt to right any wrongs.
1. Each morning create an intention to be aware of unconsciously or consciously of individuals you have out standing debt with. You can get this info through your dreams or by meditating.
2. Meditate with your guides and ask them to help you have some clues as to who they are and what sort of pain and suffering you might have caused them in the past.
3. Create an intention to connect to your highest guardian angel and then to their highest guardian angel. Ask their highest guardian angel how you can make up for any pain and suffering you caused them with intention or not.

4. Make a list of all the individuals you think you have debt with. Only meditate on one a day. Maybe even one a week. Some times it takes a while to actually get a response and be in a position to apologize to their soul and let that piece go.

5. Reflect on this life time and any one you might have disappointed or hurt either intentionally or not.
Again connect to their highest guardian angel through your for a talk. Speak your heart, then give them time to "speak" theirs. How did the pain you caused carry through in their life? How has this pain affected them to this day?
Ask them if they can forgive you. If not ask what can you do now to make up to them.

6. If it is reasonable try to do it.

When you have paid your debts this life time and other life times it is easier to be in balance and harmony. Your relationships are more dharmic than karmic. Which is a lot more joyful!

Psychic Medium John Edwards of Crossing Over and Medium /Channel Allison Dubois who the hit TV show Medium was modeled have really turned the metaphysical and paranormal world upside down with their success.
Allison is known as the Paranormal Princess on Facebook. John and Allison both are Master Mediums, they tour and give modern day seance's they call gallery's or mediumship presentations across the country. They have helped take the spookiness out of equation and create a relaxed space , using humor to set you at ease. They proceed to blow you away with their scope of the unknown. I had the priviledge of training with a master medium in Dallas,Tx Dwanna Paul.

They have brought the beauty of mediumship and what it was intended for out in the open. The healing and transformation is apparent in the faces of those who hear their messages. When a person can hear a message and a piece of evidence that they know no one else could know. Their whole world can change in an instant. Years of sadness, grief and guilt can wash away with the blink of an eye.
Allison was seeing spirits as a child, since it is a little out of ordinary she didn't really know what to do with the messages and things she heard and felt.
John's gift as brought on by the early death of his beloved mother. A medium told him that she was at peace and that he too had this abililty to see beyond the veil. Hearing these messages from his mom helped to ease some of the pain of losing her. He knows first hand how healing it can be to have a connection with some one in the spirit world.
This is what helps mediums to move forward and relay the messages they get.
My teacher Dwanna Paul was hearing spirits as a youngster too, she started studying spirituality at a very young age. Mediumship can always be refined and taken to another level. Which is what Allison Dubois is an expert at.
Even though we all have some psychic ability, it is a part of our survival mechanism. The physical apparatus of a medium is wired a little different than most people. They are a little more fine tuned, my dad called it being (high strung). They can perceive beyond the normal range of hearing and visual perception.
For mediums like John and Allison, connecting to our loved ones in spirit through mediumship is a simple matter of adjusting our awareness and allowing our senses to go beyond this three-dimensional physical reality. We have the five basic senses of touch, sight, feel, smell and hearing. These senses function in the physical realm. Our light bodies can also hear, see and feel. We call this clairaudience, clairvoyance and clairessentience. The medium is able to use these senses a great deal more than most people. physical body has several layers or extended bodies that most people cannot see with their ordinary eyes. This is appropriate for this experience here on Earth. However, we have layers of energy bodies that have different functions.
These layers are called our light bodies. The light bodies consist of our emotional body, mental body, soul body, soul emotional body, soul mental body and casual body. All of these bodies interconnect with each other and the physical body.
At the time of death, the emotional, mental, soul, soul emotional, soul mental, and casual bodies (light bodies) pull away from the physical body taking the life force with them. The soul now exists in the astral body. Which is appropriate for the astral realm. The light body spirit still has feelings for the loved ones left behind and is still able to think and process thought.

Some mediums can use their perceptions to follow a trail so to speak. To track an origin or an end. In the case of Allison Dubois, she can perceive images and follow the trail to a physical body. Most mediums just follow the trail to discerning messages and whatever evidence that spirits can impart. Some mediums can hold the thread of communication and follow it to the families in spirit giving names of several relatives. This is how spirit works with me, very like John Edwards style of relaying messages. Some of my friends in mediumship can follow the trail and impressions inside the physical body to gather imagery and ideas about what might be going on in the physical body.
For the spirit entity to connect to a medium, all they have to do is merge the aura of the medium and connect their mental field to the medium's. Now a mind-to-mind communication takes place. Symbolism is the language of the universe. The disincarnate spirit will impress a message of symbols through their mental field to the medium's mental field. The medium will often hear a combination of words, see images and feel impressions from the disincarnate spirit. Usually the first thing the spirit will tell the medium is their name. If they had an unusual name, they might try to get their name across by using a song, like "Rocking Robin." I once had a young girl who was killed in a car accident come in with that song. The medium will hear the song over and over until they acknowledge it. Sometimes, the spirit will say something about how they died or give names of surviving members of the family, or special pet. They might show the medium scenes, and symbols about their life. I try to describe them to my client exactly as they are being impressed to me. It is up to the spirit to project, and up to the medium to receive.

A House Blessing

House Blessing!
Here is a fun way to do a house blessing.Remove all clutter from each room. Use a solution of water, vinegar and a little ammonia to wipe the surfaces in the rooms that you can. Start with the top and work your way down.Then sweep the floor and mop it with this mixture if your floors surface can handle it.Now take an equal mix of sage, sweet grass, cedar and lavender in a fire proof container.Light it up and blow out the fire, use the smoke to drift through the house. Start in the east and work your way clock wise around the house. Concentrate on the corners, and under furniture. If you have to re light it do so.Pick some pretty flowers out of the garden and put a small arrangement in each room.Have a small rock or crystal next to each bouquet. Go out side and see if you can find a small feather to bring in to each room by the crystal or rock. Light some small white tea candles around each arrangement. As you light the candles ask that the angels of the home be present and accept this gift of flowers in exchange for helping to maintain this home in beauty, peace and protection. Ask the angels of the home to be present and bless this home with the divine frequencies of love, knowledge and wisdom.Let the candles burn out and stay home until they are out. Be sure to monitor each room while they are burning to make sure the room is safe and no animals are around the candles.This blessing will help to reactivate the animal kingdom, the mineral kingdom and the plant kingdom so they will continue to keep the correct frequency in your space.Make sure to stay present during the entire porcess!

Vibrant Health

Here are 7 tips for creating a Wellness and Vibrancy Plan. I am using the number 7 because it is a power number that corresponds with your Sacred Dream.

1. Write down the names of any one you have outstanding business with. Did they cause you harm, or pain, do you owe them money, do they owe you? After you have a list begin to go through it and do ceremony with each person on the list. Ask forgiveness if necessary, say what needs to said. If you need to forgive and let go then this is the time to do it! This is so important.

2. Eradicate the words illness, disease and cancer from your vocabulary, inform the people around you to do the same when talking to you. Just let them know that you no longer want to be defined by that, you are busy re-creating another phase and have some strong ideas about how to do that.
It is a part of stepping into our power, learning to set boundaries and insisting that people respect them on your behalf.

3. Make it your business to sit with your Soul/Spirit one time a day for 30 minutes. The 3 is a power number too, one of the meanings is life-death-rebirth. Meaning to re-birth ourselves a new, we must let some asspects of our self die a little death.
If we can die the little death successfully we don't have to die the big death(physical).
While we sit with spirit we want to have a dual approach, the first part is to send out our prayers to spirit.
The second part is to meditate and listen to what spirit suggests. There is a powerful way to pray and that is to not ask for any thing rather to say thank you for what you desire before you have it. In this case, Thank you Universes/God/Goddess/Angels for streaming vibrant well being into my physical, mental and emotional bodies. While you are saying the words, be feeling it on all of your five senses. Through visualization, pretend you feel strong, healthy, well, energetic, happy, peaceful etc...

4. Consult a holistic doctor who can help you detoxify the chemicals, metals and any parasites you have. These totally hamper your healing curve. A good holistic doctor can help you put together a supplement plan and good food approach. You will always need to be adjusting your supplements as your body shifts and changes through the cleanse.

5. Pursue yoga or another movement meditation to help move the Ki through your meridians. If nothing else do some walking. There are some yoga breathing exercise you can do in bed or in a wheel chair. Super important!

6. Consider some spiritual healing techniques to help you like Reiki, massage, acupuncture, EFT. A good practioner can help you determine where you have sluggish spots that are wanting attention, how to get some balance back into the physical.
Consider taking a Reiki 1 class to help you help your self!
Reiki is one of the few healing modalities you can do on your self. Yea!

7. Utilize some affirmations into your lifestyle.
Like I am feeling stronger and more vibrant all the time. I like feeling connected to my higher self.

These are a few steps to take to help you get back into balance. Always be paying attention to your gut instincts and what your angels are trying to tell you.

I would also consider giving away or clothes you associated with your illness. This is a good time to purchase new clothes for a fresh start. Look for power and healing colors.
Take a good look at your living pace, radically clean it out so there is no junk in your space. Only things that you love and use or are special to you. Everything else needs to go to a new home or the trash.

Try to eat only organic foods, at least get your dairy products organic and the majority of other produce.
Consider for the time being at least a raw food life style, If you have to eat meat get it Kosher, or do a Blessing for the animal that gave up it's life to nourish yours.
Take the time it takes to do it right, and your physical, mental and emotional bodies will be in a better frame to support your souls journey here. Be well!

Do Ghost and Evil Spirits Exist

The Exorcist

I remember when I was a kid this movie came out. It was so out of my box I couldn't imagine it could ever be real. In the movie they have the Catholic priests who are specially trained to cast out the demons, I thought if there is such a thing they probably only have one or two in the world. I mean how often would they really need to call on them!
Fast forward 20 years, I was learning to do Reiki and going through my training. One of the things that happens to some people when they take the Reiki attunements is that their third eye begins to open up. This happened to me as I was channeling Reiki to a client one day. Out of the blue I see a small ugly thing on his shoulder. I remember thinking this is different! My teachers never said any thing about small furry looking ugly critters. What am I supposed to do with this. It turns out the small furry creature was a thought form, the man was a former addict and had attracted into his life a variety of ugly spirits.
Not knowing what else to do I asked the angels to take the ugly spirit into the light and transmute this negative entity back to alignment with love.
This got me curious about spirits of a negative sort, how we attracted them into our lives, how can they really impact our lives and what to do to get them to leave.

I started by asking my Reiki teacher, she wasn't familiar with them. There was a little information in some of my Feng Shui books on space clearing. This led me to Spiritual Response Therapy and Soul Clearing through Soul Genesis. I took this training and began to use it to do clearings of different sorts for my clients.
It turns out that we can be latched on to by uglies in a few different ways. If we live with a lot of fear, this can attract Negative spirits sometimes even posing as guides for our higher good.
If we ever have a battle with drugs or alcohol, even prescription pills, this can lower our defenses against the dark side and attract to us Dark Lords, talker stalkers and a host of yuckie stuff.
Some times we might move into a new house where someone died a bad death and be attached by that persons spirit.
When these things happen it creates a lot of havoc in our lives. We can't function as we normally would have. We might do things really our of character. We may suffer from bad dreams, and dark depression.
There are a hand full of ways of removing these spirits, some times people are born with a gift from spirit just knowing what to say and who to call to help the spirits move into the light or at least to another plane of reality.
You can be trained in several different paths to do this. I have had training in four paths to help these spirits on into the light or too the astral plane that is perfect for them at this time.
Recently I was reading something on the air plane that the Catholic Church was having a hard time keeping up with the demand for priests who can perform these banishing's or exorcisms.
So it is good to be aware that is you feel haunted or things are just not right, to look up someone who can help you clear the ugly out.
I think that evil spirits create a lot of the unrest in the world and then prey on the fear and chaos that they stir up. So the more that we can stay in our heart space, trying to have unconditional love in our hearts. We are less of a contribution to the chaos and more a stabilizing factor.

This letter comes to you with greetings from the Mother Lodge, We sincerely wish for you a year that brings you more autonomous, individual, freedom and deeper love for your self, life and others.
This email brings to you the words of Grandmother Dewa Santi, a clan mother of the Seven Great Nations. “As you see life taking its form each day, it is helpful to remind yourself it is unfolding according to the instructions of the Creator. The trees, the animals, all the worlds are indeed doing what they do according to the instructions of the Creator”.

Our teachings remind us that there is no separation, that we are in fact connected to the Everything. This means that also humans can choose to live each day according to the instruction of the Creator. We just need to get out of our own way to do so!

Sounds great doesn’t it? Perhaps the trees have it easier because all they do is give. Or the rocks, all they do is hold and transform. However we humans do it all, we give, hold and transform, receive, determine and catalyze. Humans, on the other hand were given the gift of free will. This is both our blessing and burden because it means we have the free will to stay connected and in alignment or to disconnect and go into separation.

Now the statement that says “According to the instructions of the creator” or “given by the creator” would lead us to think that life is predestined, but what about our free will? How can free will and predestination be in the same sentence with each other and not be contradictory? For the answer to this we must look at one of the Working Laws of the Magician. It is called the Law of Predestination and Free Will. It states that “Events are predestined, and each person chooses whether or to what extent to participate in them”. This means that the events in our lives are predestined and it is up to our free will to choose whether to and to what extent we will engage with them or not.

This law would tell us that it is not a coincidence that we are here at this time in history when incredible events are happening very quickly. Nor is it a coincidence that we are in Dharma and have found our Path with heart. These were all events that were predestined and you chose to engage with them.

Your birthright from the Creator is to be autonomous, individual and free. The great challenge of our time is to decide whether or not and how we are going to stay connected to Spirit.

It is a great and exciting time to be alive. The challenge for us is to stay connected, to insist upon our individuality, autonomy and freedom especially in this climate that is more and more demanding mediocrity, sameness and “correctness”.

Creating New Year's Intentions

New Year's Intentions

My apprentice guide always told me if you are not intending your time you are pretending. It means you are spinning your wheels.
By segment intending we can break down the time we have in a day and allocate different amounts to the projects we have.
The trick is to have time set aside for the different aspects of our self. Our career-physical life, our mental self, our emotional self, our spiritual self and soul/life force energy.
Some times we get caught up in a survival mode where it is all about making a living. We then will ignore the other aspects of our self. This is a trap and creates distress in the other aspects of our life. We have to have balance to be successful in the end.
I make a to-do today list. Write down the major things I intend to finish or work on and how much time goes to different projects that are on going. Then I set my timer for that amount of time. This gives each project a container. When the timer goes off I wrap up that piece and take a little transition break before moving to the next piece of business. This helps me to keep things moving and get this done.
So here are my seven tips:

1. Write a list to ground the idea.
2. Set a time, stick to it.
3. Do something for each of the five aspects of self
4. Let the inner child have a little fun
5. Rest in between projects to rejuvenate.
6. Re-evaluate your finished projects at the end of the day.
7. Be flexible, this keeps us fluid and moving.

Be more aware of energy sucks, are other people's business eating up your precious time? If so learn to create stronger boundaries around your self and a stronger sense of worthiness for your personal dreams. I teach my students how to do this on an ongoing basis.
Find a mentor, coach or guide to help you push your personal edge this year. There are many programs available. I have had an Apprentice Guide for 10 years. Some times it is really hard but it helps me to get things going! I wouldn't have a 2nd degree black belt if it weren't for my Apprentice Guide,

All Hallow's Eve, the night the moon, the sun and the planets create a magical configuration.
I think of it as a triangle to slide between the worlds.
Creating an opportunity to see other realms. A place where our loved ones now reside.
Giving a few of us precious moments and messages.
Healing sad hearts with knowledge that their life continues in another dimension.
A wonderful tradition is to acknowledge your special ancestors and special pets with a ancestor dinner.

I host an anual All Hallow's Eve Seance' where I create an ancestor table to show honor and respect for our loved ones in the spirit world.
You can create your own family custom by setting a table and adding one extra plate for your ancestors.
The meal should include typical fall foods like apples, turnips, sweet potatoes, apple pie, squash, apple cider.

It is traditional to use things that are harvested this time of year.

The oldest family member says a special blessing for the harvest food on the table,
remember to bless the plants and animals that gave their life to sustain ours.
Then they call your loved ones to share the meal this evening.
Let your spirit loved ones know that we respect your journey here on this plane and the opportunities they set into place for us to come here as well.
As well as the lessons you learned from them.
As the oldest family member serves the food, they place a small portion on to the ancestor plate first. As you eat the meal you ask each family member to share a story of a loved one. Maybe a special meal they made or some funny stories.
This is a way to keep a live the ones who have gone on before us and to show them respect as well.
You can also take turns giving messages to each other.
Just play and let the spirit move you.
Then we pass around the apple cider and together toast our special friends and family members in the spirit world. We acknowledge we know they are still with us and are appreciate of their part in our life. If you have unfinished business this is a time to let go of the past , forgive and move on.
After the meal take the ancestor plate and a small glass of the cider or drink that was served to a space out side. If you know your Feng Shui, take it too the ancestor quadrant of the back yard.
Leave the plate and glass out there for the ancestors to enjoy as they see fit.
They may share it with the nature spirits. Whatever is fine. Reclaim your dishes the next morning.
Be aware of the nature out side, are there any special animals around? They might be there to give you a message from the spirit world. Are you open to receive?
Sometimes our loved ones in spirit will try to send a message through an animal. When you are open to however and whenever you get a lot more communication.

Working the Warrior Wheel

The definition of a warrior is an awakened human, fighting for peace, harmony, and individual, autonomous freedom to bring the Gold Horse to victory.

The Goal of the enlightened warrior is to use their tools to fight ignorance, slavery, bigotry, to bring about a world of individual freedom and autonomy.

Wheels are ways of learning bodies of information in the medicine path.

In the Sweet Medicine Sundance Path they are a lot of wheels. Our mind learns easily in circles so things are over layed that way to help us integrate the teachings and compare them to other wheels for multiple over lays of information.
When I began to train in martial arts I learned about The Warrior Wheel.

I had the opportunity to put the wheel into use when I studied martial arts and began to compete. Being a show-me girl, I always like to see some thing work before I really give it much merit or thought.
If I hadn’t started coming up with issues in my training I might not have tried it, but things started coming up in my program that I had a hard time over coming. One of my good friends who was also in the medicine path suggested that I learn the wheel and put it in to action. You can use this same wheel in a lot of your own day-to-day life situations.
That is why I am sharing it here. This is also a good way for me to empty my cup symbolically. The cup cannot be filled again until it is emptied. By sharing what has worked for you, you are emptying your cup. The universe responds by giving you more to learn.

My first issue was having a hard time judging my space and distance. When you are preparing an attack, it is crucial that you be able to know where you are and what is your opponents kicking distance as well. The idea is to get into their space and score your point with out them seeing it coming. It is like you are on the edge, creep onin then-boom you are in and you score. I was having challegences knowing how close I could get and when I was at my distance to score.
Space and Distance is a South West issue. The counter to that issue is to do personal ceremony and give your self WTA’s to push your edge on all levels.
A WTA is a (warrior task assignment). My interest in martial arts was originally a WTA from the man that I apprenticed to. He challenged me to study a martial art to help me gain a better sense of self in the physical body. So I did, starting in 1999.
The WTA suggested to find ways to push your personal edge or personal comfort zone.
What I did to push my edge was to sign up and take black belt classes that were training for State Competitions and Nationals. I was the only colored belt in the class; every one else was already a Black belt. So every class I took was over my head, really hard but when you train over your head for a project you really gain from a higher level. When I was actually with some one my own belt level I was more than ready to compete with them. They were easy compared to what I trained with every day. It also helped me that I was one of two women in the class, so the intensity of training was really high. That then became my natural level. I thought every woman across the country was training for Nationals the same way I was. Turns out that was not so. My natural level was hands down more intense than any one I competed with. Which was great for me.
To counter my problem gauging space and distance I gave my self the job of training with better and higher ranked martial artist than I was. I also did personal ceremonies to stay connected with spirit. Some times I would just light some incense and sit under a tree out side and pray. In the SW, the symbolical idea to be gained here is my willingness to engage with the unknown. I was afraid of the unknown in a match, would I get kicked really hard, maybe I would lose, how would I feel about that? Do I have the stamina to go three rounds? I had all these little unanswered questions to my self. This was causing me to loose my abilities to judge. As I began to train and really push my personal edge by training above my belt rank, I gained solid strength and understanding about my abilities and limits. This gave me confidence. I did my personal ceremonies to gain a sense of inner strength; this gave me that calm and understanding of (it is a good day to die). When you are really ready to bring it on, that energy and power is so awesome. It really helps support your play.
It seemed that I was getting better at gauging my space and distance with in a few weeks of implementing the new approach. What I think is weird is that as soon as that challenge cleared up I began to have a problem with my timing. Timing is crucial in a martial artist, it is important for all of us and we may not realize it. For a martial artist who is competing it is an important factor. My timing was off; I was missing opportunities and starting to attack to late. So on the wheel I looked it up and discovered the cure was to keep and plot the naturals. What is that? It is the moon phases, cycles, the tides, where are the planets now. What is going on in the heavens? So I bought my self an almanac and begin to read it every morning, where is the moon, what are the times for sun rise and sun set, are any planets in retrograde? I began to get up in the morning to go watch the sunrise; I made sure I watched the sun go down at night. I kept track of when the moon would rise and would watch that. By getting in harmony with the heavens and nature I was in better harmony with my self and all that is. This allowed me to see better and know when to move, when to wait. You can also affect one place of the wheel by working across the wheel. So when I was trying to build my strength and power I not only did the exercise in the west but the east also. In the east it says to pursue knowledge, so I studied the great martial artists especially Bruce Lee, who I think is a Master energy who incarnated. I also studied other spiritual teaching from other schools in the Eight Great Powers. This helped me have a good attitude and approach to my training, and to develop my power and sense of self, and connectedness to all that is.
I used all of this for martial arts, you could use this same wheel to rejuvenate a business, re- build your own physical body, there are a lot of ways of using this teaching to empower your own life.
I took my martial arts to two state competitions and won two gold medals, then to Nationals and won two more golf medals sparring, then to earn my first-degree black belt and my second degree down the road.

If you need a little blue print for success this would be it!

When we learn to live with in sacred law, we can step into our power and shinning in a beauty way.

Sundance for Freedom

As the sun grows stronger and the days get longer I feel the call of the Sundance Ceremony.
Sundance is one of the seven sacred ceremonies given to us to help us live in balance. To not just survive here but to thrive.

Every year there are hundreds of Sundance ceremonies scattered all over the US and out side too. You hardly ever hear of them, if you are invited consider your self special. They have been very protected for a long time to keep the ceremony sacred and allow the dancers the privacy to really focus on their prayers.

Traditionally the ceremony was used as a way to manifest a prayer for either the tribe/community or a loved one. For instance a son goes to war, the father or some one close would Sundance to help send the son energy, wisdom, power and even luck. Maybe a tribe was experiencing drought, they would Sundance for water and bountiful crops.

Every community sets up their dance according to their own system. There are few things they all have in common. The dance is set up like a big pie. We go in the East quadrant, the east represents enlightenment. We are dancing for this. The childrens fire is located here and it burns the entire four days of the ceremony.

The dancers stay in arbors(dreaming-sleep space) that are small like 2 foot by 7 foot. This represents our own Box of limitations. The belief systems and ideals we put on our self. This is to help us understand that we create our own limitations here and we can dance our way out of them.
Each dancers designs a special shield that speaks of our dreams and what we want to make manifest in the next year especially.
There is tree in the middle of the dance, the tree represents the bridge between the worlds. It has deep roots in the earth but the limbs stretch out to the heavens. The tree carries our prayers out to the universe, to Great Spirit or Wakan Tanka.
The tree is decorated with special animal totems that help carry our vision out to the heavens.
We never turn our back on the tree the entire four days in the Sundance.
In our Sundance we dance 20 hours a day, sleep 4 hours then get up do a sunrise pipe ceremony and then we dance some more.
When your body is physically exhausted you are able to get out of the little me picture and sometimes have visions of your souls dream for this journey. Not always though. I Sundanced two years before I had a vision.
You can pray for self, life and others. This is a good year to pray for our country, for our community. For the freedom that our fore fathers fought for and declared in our own declaration of independence.
When the sun is at it's zenith, the energy of the sun can be channeled to our prayers for our country.
This is great year to dance and dream for Freedom, for personal autonomy, for peace, for a world who honers all teachers and all teachings and the freedom to follow our own path of heart.

May you walk in Beauty, may America the Beautiful continue to walk in Beauty and Freedom.

When I was invited to give this speech, I was asked if I could give a simple short talk that was “direct, naked, taut, honest, passionate, lean, shivering, startling, and graceful.” Boy, no pressure there.
But let’s begin with the startling part. Hey, Class of 2009: you are going to have to figure out what it means to be a human being on earth at a time when every living system is declining, and the rate of decline is accelerating. Kind of a mind-boggling situation… but not one peer-reviewed paper published in the last thirty years can refute that statement. Basically, the earth needs a new operating system, you are the programmers, and we need it within a few decades.

This planet came with a set of operating instructions, but we seem to have misplaced them. Important rules like don’t poison the water, soil, or air, and don’t let the earth get overcrowded, and don’t touch the thermostat have been broken. Buckminster Fuller said that spaceship earth was so ingeniously designed that no one has a clue that we are on one, flying through the universe at a million miles per hour, with no need for seatbelts, lots of room in coach, and really good food, but all that is changing.
There is invisible writing on the back of the diploma you will receive, and in case you didn’t bring lemon juice to decode it, I can tell you what it says: YOU ARE BRILLIANT, AND THE EARTH IS HIRING. The earth couldn’t afford to send any recruiters or limos to your school. It sent you rain, sunsets, ripe cherries, night blooming jasmine, and that unbelievably cute person you are dating. Take the hint. And here’s the deal: Forget that this task of planet-saving is not possible in the time required. Don’t be put off by people who know what is not possible. Do what needs to be done, and check to see if it was impossible only after you are done.
When asked if I am pessimistic or optimistic about the future, my answer is always the same: If you look at the science about what is happening on earth and aren’t pessimistic, you don’t understand data. But if you meet the people who are working to restore this earth and the lives of the poor, and you aren’t optimistic, you haven’t got a pulse. What I see everywhere in the world are ordinary people willing to confront despair, power, and incalculable odds in order to restore some semblance of grace, justice, and beauty to this world. The poet Adrienne Rich wrote, “So much has been destroyed I have cast my lot with those who, age after age, perversely, with no extraordinary power, reconstitute the world.” There could be no better description. Humanity is coalescing. It is reconstituting the world, and the action is taking place in schoolrooms, farms, jungles, villages, campuses, companies, refuge camps, deserts, fisheries, and slums.
“YOU ARE BRILLIANT, AND THE EARTH IS HIRING.”
You join a multitude of caring people. No one knows how many groups and organizations are working on the most salient issues of our day: climate change, poverty, deforestation, peace, water, hunger, conservation, human rights, and more. This is the largest movement the world has ever seen. Rather than control, it seeks connection. Rather than dominance, it strives to disperse concentrations of power. Like Mercy Corps, it works behind the scenes and gets the job done. Large as it is, no one knows the true size of this movement. It provides hope, support, and meaning to billions of people in the world. Its clout resides in idea, not in force. It is made up of teachers, children, peasants, businesspeople, rappers, organic farmers, nuns, artists, government workers, fisherfolk, engineers, students, incorrigible writers, weeping Muslims, concerned mothers, poets, doctors without borders, grieving Christians, street musicians, the President of the United States of America, and as the writer David James Duncan would say, the Creator, the One who loves us all in such a huge way.
There is a rabbinical teaching that says if the world is ending and the Messiah arrives, first plant a tree, and then see if the story is true. Inspiration is not garnered from the litanies of what may befall us; it resides in humanity’s willingness to restore, redress, reform, rebuild, recover, reimagine, and reconsider. “One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice,” is Mary Oliver’s description of moving away from the profane toward a deep sense of connectedness to the living world.
Millions of people are working on behalf of strangers, even if the evening news is usually about the death of strangers. This kindness of strangers has religious, even mythic origins, and very specific eighteenth-century roots. Abolitionists were the first people to create a national and global movement to defend the rights of those they did not know. Until that time, no group had filed a grievance except on behalf of itself. The founders of this movement were largely unknown Granville Clark, Thomas Clarkson, Josiah Wedgwood and their goal was ridiculous on the face of it: at that time three out of four people in the world were enslaved. Enslaving each other was what human beings had done for ages. And the abolitionist movement was greeted with incredulity. Conservative spokesmen ridiculed the abolitionists as liberals, progressives, do-gooders, meddlers, and activists. They were told they would ruin the economy and drive England into poverty. But for the first time in history a group of people organized themselves to help people they would never know, from whom they would never receive direct or indirect benefit.. And today tens of millions of people do this every day. It is called the world of non-profits, civil society, schools, social entrepreneurship, and non-governmental organizations, of companies who place social and environmental justice at the top of their strategic goals. The scope and scale of this effort is unparalleled in history.
“Working for the earth is not a way to get rich, it is a way to be rich.”
The living world is not “out there” somewhere, but in your heart. What do we know about life? In the words of biologist Janine Benyus, life creates the conditions that are conducive to life. I can think of no better motto for a future economy. We have tens of thousands of abandoned homes without people and tens of thousands of abandoned people without homes. We have failed bankers advising failed regulators on how to save failed assets. Think about this: we are the only species on this planet without full employment. Brilliant. We have an economy that tells us that it is cheaper to destroy earth in real time than to renew, restore, and sustain it. You can print money to bail out a bank but you can’t print life to bail out a planet. At present we are stealing the future, selling it in the present, and calling it gross domestic product. We can just as easily have an economy that is based on healing the future instead of stealing it. We can either create assets for the future or take the assets of the future. One is called restoration and the other exploitation. And whenever we exploit the earth we exploit people and cause untold suffering. Working for the earth is not a way to get rich, it is a way to be rich.
The first living cell came into being nearly 40 million centuries ago, and its direct descendants are in all of our bloodstreams. Literally you are breathing molecules this very second that were inhaled by Moses, Mother Teresa, and Bono. We are vastly interconnected. Our fates are inseparable. We are here because the dream of every cell is to become two cells. In each of you are one quadrillion cells, 90 percent of which are not human cells. Your body is a community, and without those other microorganisms you would perish in hours. Each human cell has 400 billion molecules conducting millions of processes between trillions of atoms. The total cellular activity in one human body is staggering: one septillion actions at any one moment, a one with twenty-four zeros after it. In a millisecond, our body has undergone ten times more processes than there are stars in the universe, exactly what Charles Darwin foretold when he said science would discover that each living creature was a “little universe, formed of a host of self-propagating organisms, inconceivably minute and as numerous as the stars of heaven.”

So I have two questions for you all: First, can you feel your body? Stop for a moment. Feel your body. One septillion activities going on simultaneously, and your body does this so well you are free to ignore it, and wonder instead when this speech will end. Second question: who is in charge of your body? Who is managing those molecules? Hopefully not a political party. Life is creating the conditions that are conducive to life inside you, just as in all of nature. What I want you to imagine is that collectively humanity is evincing a deep innate wisdom in coming together to heal the wounds and insults of the past. Ralph Waldo Emerson once asked what we would do if the stars only came out once every thousand years. No one would sleep that night, of course. The world would become religious overnight. We would be ecstatic, delirious, made rapturous by the glory of God. Instead the stars come out every night, and we watch television.
This extraordinary time when we are globally aware of each other and the multiple dangers that threaten civilization has never happened, not in a thousand years, not in ten thousand years. Each of us is as complex and beautiful as all the stars in the universe. We have done great things and we have gone way off course in terms of honoring creation. You are graduating to the most amazing, challenging, stupefying challenge ever bequested to any generation. The generations before you failed. They didn’t stay up all night. They got distracted and lost sight of the fact that life is a miracle every moment of your existence. Nature beckons you to be on her side. You couldn’t ask for a better boss. The most unrealistic person in the world is the cynic, not the dreamer. Hopefulness only makes sense when it doesn’t make sense to be hopeful. This is your century. Take it and run as if your life depends on it.

Bardo-Journey of the Soul

The cycle of life, death and rebirth is the process of evolving our selves to higher and higher levels of consciousness and awareness.
To fear death is a primordial instinct for the Western man.

It is the supreme punishment we give our criminals and the worst we think could happen to someone is to die before their time.
Working as a medium has given me some insight as to what goes on after the heart stops.

In my conversations with spirits, I asked them why they thought a loving, caring, wise God would let harm come to the innocent and let them die very young or before their time.

They told me that as far as God is concerned the person who dies is merely walking out of one movie and into another. There is no loss of life.

The personality may lose consciousness for a brief time, but will wake up to continued life on a plane close to this one.
The death process is fascinating and is really a birth into the spirit world.
When a new baby is born they are dying to the spirit world to be born here. Just as every birth is an individual process, some are faster, easier than others, so are deaths. Before I explain the bardo journey I will need to talk about the layers of energy surrounding your physical body. Your light body or astral body.
Our body has layers of energy that extend beyond what we can see with our physical eyes.
We actually have layers of light bodies that have different functions. Our Physical body is to function with in the physical realm.
Next we have an emotional body that extends three to eight inches beyond our physical. We express our emotions through this energy field.
Then we have the mental body, it has a higher and finer vibration than the previous layer, our mental body expresses through the physical brain.

It is concerned with everyday thoughts-our conscious mind. The mental layer is associated with the solar plexus chakra and issues of will power. The mental layer extends beyond the emotional layer.
After the mental layer is the soul layer, this layer is connected to the heart chakra and is associated with love. This layer is about a foot from your physical body.
The next layer is the soul emotional layer, the soul mental layer which registers ideas on an abstract level.

This layer is several inches beyond the soul body.
And finally the casual body. This layer can be several feet from your physical body.
All of these layers are intertwined with each other.
There are three cords that are invisible to the physical eye, they connect us to our oversoul. They represent the three aspects of man-physical, soul, and spirit. Each cord is connected to a seed atom.
One seed atom is in your brain, the mental seed atom. It records your thoughts good and bad.
The next is your heart seed atom.
And the third is the emotional atom. It contains the emotions felt by your soul. All of the things in your life that made an impact on you are recorded there. Your Book of Life. The emotional seed atom is in the solar plexus area.
These atoms are like tape recorders that have been running your whole life. There is a built in timer in your heart seed atom that knows how much time your soul has allotted you in this physical body.

Remember the soul likes to get lots of experience in lots of different bodies even in other realities. All of this experience is absorbed back in to All That Is Or God.

When this timer goes off the life force starts to pull away from the body.
As the cords are pulled up the life force goes with them, the brain starts to become aware of scenes from her life.

Most of the time the soul will depart through the crown chakra. As the areas in the brain open up to allow the soul to depart energizing the crown the area around the crown will begin to glow.
Now the mental seed atom is loosened and that cord breaks.

When the mental seed atom breaks the person would be in a coma like state. As the mental seed atom travels up and out of the physical body it is now residing in the astral body. Which will be an appropriate body for the astral realm.
Next the emotional seed cord is broken and it travels up the spinal column from the solar plexus area taking the emotional seed atom with it.
Now it will reside in the solar plexus area of the astral body. The last cord to break is the heart, as it travels up the spine through the medulla oblongata and out the crown finding a new home in the astral body's heart.

Now the life force is completely out of the physical body. All of the light bodies are together in an astral body which is now perfect for residing on an astral realm.

We still have everything we did have but now we are focused in the nonphysical energy rather than being focused through a physical format.

The time is variable usually two to three hours. This would describe a natural death.
In the case of an accident or a violent death, the cords would all snap together and immediately transfer the seed atoms into the astral shell. The personality might not even know they had died.

Usually they realize it when they see their physical body lying prone. Sometimes they cannot accept their demise and refuse to continue the Bardo process. This would be an earth bound soul or ghost.
After the cords snap the process of the Bardo trance begins. Every Bardo journey will be unique. What happens in the tunnel depends on the spiritual life or lack of the personality who is dying. The Tunnel is the personality going up the spine and out the crown.

As they travel they are made aware of things that happened in their life. If they had a very fearful nature of death and thought they would surely go to hell, then they will likely see images of hell as they envisioned it.

They may hear horrible sounds and feel great winds. They will likely see three judges standing before them condemning them for their life. They will be shown a movie of their life and when they caused hurt or pain to another they will be in the position of the person and feel the pain they had caused.

They will feel great remorse and anguish for the self centered life they had led.
At some point they will be shown a great light and if they can merge with this light they will be released from the wheel of death and rebirth.

Normally if the personality had no spiritual training or experience they will be frightened by this brilliant light. This is the clear light or Christ light. This is where the term saved by the light comes from.

If an individual had led a good life but did not really pursue spiritual growth, they will also see the video of their life and where they had chances to evolve and missed the opportunity. They will be greeted by loved ones already in spirit.

These loved ones will help them to complete the journey. They will see the Ascended Master they had revered and worshiped in this life time. Jesus Christ greets Christians, The Buddha will meet many, as well Moses, Mohamed, Isis, Mother Mary. There will be much Angelic presence about the soul.

They will be comforting them, helping them to understand the journey and process. The Bardo process can last anywhere from six minutes or two days. It depends on the spiritual evolution of the soul. The clear light of the void, or Christ light, will be shown several times during the Bardo. If a soul were to merge with that light it would be a spiritual ecstasy seeing the face of God/Goddess/All That Is.

It is our goal to merge with that essence that is our creator, but it takes a lot of nerve. You probably fear you will cease to be in the vastness of our creator. I do not think that is the case. To be able to take advantage of this opportunity at death you must prepare for it during this lifetime through prayer, meditation, seeking spiritual growth.

You must not let the Bardo images scare you and keep your mind focused on the light and merging with the light. One of my favorite prayers helps you to visualize the light. "I am surrounded by the clear light of the Christ, nothing but good can come to me, nothing but good can go from me. I give thanks".

This prayer done often, while visualizing the light will help you to be familiar with the light.
If you have sins that need to be repented for you will be counseled by spiritual helpers. They will help you to forgive yourself, which is normally the hardest for you to do. They will explain the importance of forgiving anyone who caused you pain in this lifetime and releasing that pain.
There are many layers we call heaven.

Each layer is higher and finer until you reach the Godhead. You will reside on a layer or area of the astral plane which you are a vibrational match to.

Like is attracted to like. While in spirit, after you have recuperated from your death/rebirth, you can come and go, learn, experience what you desire in the boundaries of that plane. If you wish to move to a higher plane you will have spiritual advisors who can help you.

Expressing the quality of unconditional love is the quickest way to the higher layers. Easier said than done. The more you can stay in that vibration, the faster you will progress.
Purgatory does exist.

It's purpose is not to punish sinners, but is an area in which to give them a chance to " purge" themselves of negative thoughts, beliefs, and fears. There is an opportunity to repent for the pain you might have caused others.

You will be shown how you can obtain forgiveness. Anything that keeps your soul at a lower vibration. The laws of attractions are immutable even in spirit. You will reside on an astral plane of a like vibration and with like minded individuals. Almost everyone in spirit spends some time here in the clear viewing process.

This is so you can see your life from a clear perspective and where you went wrong, where you could have done better. It is for the purpose for your soul growth. This is where you can release beliefs, ideas, fears that do not serve your highest self.
The suicide will first awake from the death coma in an astral hospital.

He will be counseled by his spiritual advisors. He will also go through the reviewing process of purgatory. Since the suicide is usually in an extreme fragile state he will be guided at all phases and shown what he could do to repair the pain and chaos he has left behind. He will remain on this earth plane until he would have died naturally.

His task will be to help, in any way he can, the loved ones he left behind. He will not be offered the Clear Light of the Void or salvation by the Light. This is not to punish him. Every effort will be made to comfort him. He must face his karma. Some spirits will experience a form of hell. It is one of their own creation.

They feel so sure that they deserve to be in hell or that God would never forgive them their sins. Their guides and angels will try to help them purge themselves from these ideas. Their angels at some point will concede and tell the spirit ' when you are ready send a voice and we will come and help you'.

We all have free will even after dying to the physical world. So if the spirit feels so undeserving they create, through their mental field, images they think they deserve that are hell like. Remember we are all creators in training.

An idea that we dwell on, or think about often, combined with emotions will be our point of attraction to the universe and eventually our experience. These hell bound spirits will at some point start to see the light and their angels will come and help them to release the fearful ideas and ties that bind them to lower astral areas.
Bardo rituals or last rites are helpful to the spirit in staying focused on the light and trying to merge with the clear light. If a spirit is distracted by crying relatives it makes it harder to leave and travel this earned journey.

The best thing you can do for a dying loved one is to tell them you love them and you support them on their journey. Praying for them is very helpful. It is like sending them energy for their journey. If you can, have someone come in and verbally walk them across the void, they can hear those in the physical. It is very comforting to the spirit making the transition to have a friend who is knowledgeable and hopefully clairvoyant to explain the images they may see. Part of my training has been in walking spirits across the void. Whatever you do please remove wailing relatives from the room.

It is not fair to be so distracting to the spirit. They will try to comfort them when they should be focused on their own most important rebirth into pure nonphysical energy. As we live and die we take with us our experiences and compare them to the rest of our lives and mature as a result. Even the animals move to higher levels of life forms as a result of life, death and rebirth.

MarVeena's Near Death Experience

About three days before I turned 21 I died.

For about a minute or so.

It was one of the most profound moments of my life.

I was a happy go lucky rodeo cowgirl, a trick rider. My horse was saddled up and we were trying to get into the arena for our trick riding show. My music was playing (Ghost Riders in the Sky). The rodeo announcer was calling my name and doing my introduction. About 40 Bulldoggers with horses were coming out of the alley as I was trying to get in. They weren’t giving way, my horses was getting nervous and hard to handle. He was getting bumped around; I was frustrated afraid I would run out of music for my show. The horse freaked out and reared straight up in the air. I had time to just slide off the back, but me being the stubborn girl that I am I didn’t want to get off and risk getting dirty on the ground. So I decided to try to get him down. He wasn’t having it and flipped straight over backwards trying to hurt me.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with trick riding, my saddle has a 6-inch saddle horn. It is really narrow and a lot taller than most saddles. They make it this way so a trick rider can grab it with both hands doing different tricks.

It was all a big blur when the horse flipped over; the force of the landing knocked me right out of my body.
What was so interesting to me is how fast I lost association with my body. I remember looking over my shoulder at my body on the ground, with my left toe besides my left ear thinking (dang, she looks bad!). Not me! She looks bad. Wow! I just turned my back on her and headed off. Where to, I don’t know. But I intuitively understood where to and that it was ok. I felt totally at home and at peace.
There was sort of a blur to my left and I saw a couple of faces. They sort of looked at me and I heard one of them say, “what is she doing here”. I turned my head to argue with them. Like I was here and wanted to stay here. But I didn’t get the chance. I sort of got popped back in my body.
Then I realized the pain! And then you really did want to die.
The pain was incredible. My boy friend was there. I asked him to help me get my leg straight. It was broke in two places but I couldn’t stand it being right there by my face. He did it, maybe shouldn’t have but I didn’t haven’t any more damage from him moving it.
Lucky for me when we hit the ground the saddle horn hit right beside my stomach. This kept the weight of the horse mostly off me.

The ride to the nearest hospital was like a terrible comedy. Bone brakes are very painful, any movement at all sends excrusicating waves of pain through your body. People can walk by you and the vibration hurts you. They put this giant plastic bag shaped like a leg on my leg and filled it with air.
Then they loaded me in the ambulance and headed off. They don’t give you pain killers in there. I never knew that. You just have to tough it out to the hospital. The driver was driving like a mad man. Lights on, the sirens were on. We were at the rodeo arena; it was in a Cow pasture. That meant terrible pain for two broke bones. I yelled at him to slow down or I’d get up and choke him. Like I could get up. There was a wonderful woman riding in the back with me, she was a great Momma surrogate. She held my hand and told me they would get me painkillers at the hospital. It was 30 country miles to the nearest hospital. That hospital turned out to be a terrible joke. They rush me in to the ER of this little hick town, get me into the room and this psuedo doctor comes in grabs my plastic bag with both hands and pushes it back and forward. I screamed bloody murder; let me tell you I do have a month on me. He looks at the nurse and says, “Yes, It is broke”. I could have slapped him, if I could just get off the dang table.
Then they decide that they don’t have the proper x-ray equipment to see the break clearly. So they loaded me back up in another ambulance to go to a bigger hospital 50 miles away. Oh my god! Still no painkillers at all.
Now there is a woman driving and she is so much more aware of the scraping bones in the back, still I could feel every little crack in the road.
There was a man in the back who tried his best to cheer me up by telling me jokes. He was wonderful, but I screamed, cussed and cried the whole way.

Finally we get to the big hospital in Springfield, MO. Some one had got a hold of my parents and they were there. Because it was summer time, there were a lot of bugs around the entrance of the ER. The nurses popped in and said to cover my head up because of the bugs. I freaked out, Oh no. I am not dead; you aren’t covering my head up with my mom and dad right out there to see me. They would have a heart attack.

When I did get unloaded they were right there at the back, totally freaked! Not much like this had every happened to their five kids.
Truth is all I wanted was my mom, but my dad grabbed my hand and wouldn’t let her get near. I have never seen them so upset.
I always assumed they loved me but really didn’t know how much until them. It made me sad to cause them so much pain that night.
They get me into ER, at least this was a real hospital, real Doctors, real painkillers! Yea!
It was probably five hours between the time of the accident and the time I finally got some painkillers.
It was after the painkillers took effect and I sort of got stabilized that the weird stuff started happening.

I started having strange dreams, talking to family members in the dreams. They told me I couldn’t come over now.
My mom stayed with me over night the first few nights, she never left my side. I would hear the elevator bell ding, and I would say “Mom, Uncle Leroy is here” then in a few seconds Uncle Leroy would walk in the door.
I had several occurrences like that.
It was a bad bone break and a long rehab. It took four orderlies to pick me up and move me. Two guys to pick me up and two to pick my leg up. The dang cast was up to my thigh. It was very heavy. I only weighed like 100 pounds at the time. But it was so painful for me to be moved they had to get a lot of help.
I started having dreams about a fire on my floor. It really scared me, because it took so many guys to move me. I was afraid that if a fire happened they wouldn’t get me. The idea of burning a live terrified me. I kept having these dreams. I was in the hospital for about three weeks at this point. Finally I talked to my dad and told him I can lie around the house at home and not be costing so much money. (My ulterior motive was to get out of the hospital in case that dream came true).
So he brought me home.
About three days after he got me home I was watching the news and learned that a fire had occurred on that floor of the hospital.
It wasn’t bad, nobody died. But it did happen.
I know now that that was a precognitive dream.
Another cool thing happened while I was layed up with broken bones. My Grandmother never learned to drive, so my Granddad had to take her everywhere she wanted to go. They lived about 12 miles from me. One night I was sleeping and something woke me up, I looked up at the side of my bed and there was Grandma. She was standing by my bed bigger than all get out! She was smiling at me. I know she was worried and wanted to assure herself that I was ok. This is called astral projection. I know now I get a lot of my abilities from my grand mother.
It was six months in bed to get the bones healed. Took forever.
You can never go back to the way you were when you have a life-changing situation happen to you. I had hours to think about all the things that happened and contemplate where I was headed off to when I died for a few seconds.
I had such a huge shift of focus, before I was all about my career as a rodeo cowgirls, my boyfriends etc…
The visions and images I was seeing really concerned me. I thought I was going crazy. Who talks to dead people, who sees their Grandma in the middle of the night when you knew she was miles a way.
This was the beginning of my unfolding a spiritual gift of mediumship. The huge impact of the horse slamming me to the ground jolted my Kundalini awake.
It buzzed all the way to the top. I tell my Apprentice students to create their intention right now to awaken through pleasure. I wouldn’t want any one to go through pain like that. Some people get their gifts the hard way. A lot actually, Danion Brinkley comes to mind. Jon Edwards was awakened through the death of his mother. A very traumatic event.
My angels tell me that pain isn’t necessary if you are allowing for that idea that you can evolve through pleasure and beauty. That is one of my goals with my Apprenticeship program. To help my students do just that.
